As a native of northeast Kansas now residing in south-central Kansas, I have a secret to share about this beautiful place. It is not flat!

One of my favorite places are the Flint Hills, especially captivating in the spring when the bluestem grass' vibrant green defies reproduction. Many many years ago my pursuit of an art education degree resulted in a degree in painting and drawing.

Since that time I have remained immersed in the visual arts, whether crafting stage backdrops and scenery for children's performances or showcasing my paintings in various competitions and exhibits.

My artistic motivation has always been to convey a sense of wonder and discovery, drawing inspiration from my local surroundings or ventures further afield. Now retired, I've explored new avenues, learning graphic design techniques that have translated my art into surface designs for fabric, home decor and many other products.
